Welcome to EYFS Play Planner ("we", "us", "the app"), operated by EarlyYearswithFola. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. What EYFS Play Planner is

EYFS Play Planner generates play-based activity ideas for early years settings and parents, based on the details you enter (age group, learning area, theme, setting, time, resources, group size, and preferences).

2. Accounts

• You need an account to use the generator. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure.
• You must provide a valid email address and accurate information when signing up.
• We may suspend or close accounts that misuse the service (e.g. sharing login details to bypass the free-use limit, abusive behaviour towards support).

3. Subscription and paid access

• New accounts get 3 free activity generations.
• Full access — unlimited generations and PDF downloads — is available via a monthly subscription of £4.99, billed automatically each month until cancelled, processed securely through Stripe.
• You can cancel at any time from your account settings; you’ll retain access until the end of your current billing period.

4. Refunds and cancellation

• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You’ll retain full access until the end of your current billing period — no partial refunds are given for the remaining days.
• We don’t offer refunds for the current billing period once it’s been charged, except where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to bypass the free-use limit or payment system
• Copy, resell, or redistribute the app's generated content as a competing commercial product
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the app's underlying logic

6. Content and professional judgement

Activity plans are generated automatically based on your inputs. They are intended as a starting point and a time-saver, not a substitute for your own professional judgement, safeguarding responsibilities, risk assessments, or your setting's policies. See the full disclaimer on the About page.

7. Intellectual property

The app, its design, and its underlying generation logic belong to EarlyYearswithFola. You're free to use, print, and share the individual activity plans you generate for your own practice or setting.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the app running reliably but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.

9. Liability

The app is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, EarlyYearswithFola is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
